Today our P5 kids spent some time experimenting with friendship. Each child designed a balloon with their name and picture on it, and mixed them up. Mrs McMonagle and Mrs Concannon timed the kids trying to find their own balloon. The balloons were mixed again and the children were asked to pick up the closest balloon and take it to the child whose name was on it. The teachers timed the children again. We found that when we help each other out, we are 50% faster than when looking out for ourselves! A very important life lesson!
