The children had a very special visit today from Emma, Thomas and about 5000 bees!!! Emma and Thomas are local beekeepers and they very kindly brought in a working beehive to show the children. We got to see honey being made in front of our eyes and listened to a very informative presentation about bees and how they make honey. The children even got to taste three different types of honey and vote for their favorite type. Mr Kerr and Mrs Porter would like to give Emma and Thomas a massive thank you on behalf of all the children for giving us all a wonderful learning experience.
