For the past few weeks our children have been learning about Derry and the surrounding areas as part of our theme "Where I Live" and today our Primary 5 children paid a visit to Derry's historic Guildhall to visit the Mayor, Alderman Graham Warke. We spent the morning taking a tour, making new laws that ban homework and visiting Derry's historic walls. We even stopped off to our favourite restaurant McDonald's for lunch. A great day was had by all!
We would like to thank Alderman Graham Warke and the Guildhall staff for the hospitality shown to our children. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
