As part of Anti-Bullying Week our Primary 1 children watched a Barney The Dinosaur video teaching them all about respect. They learned that showing respect means being polite and mannerly and caring for other people's feelings. The children loved Barney's song about respect and we will continue to teach this song throughout the Primary 1 year. Here's part of the song they will be learning."This world can be a lot more fun when you show respect to everyone. Showing respect to others, it's very easy to do, just be polite and treat them right, the way they should treat you."
Our children then sorted words into 2 categories of Showing Kindness and Not Showing Kindness and now parents you can ask your child all about what they learned about showing kindness.
