Sun Shines on our May Procession

13th May 2016

The sun came out and shone upon us all as we honoured Mary in our May Procession.  All of the children from Primary 1 to Primary 7 sang along as they walked in procession through the grounds of the school to arrive in front of the statue of Our Lady in the school playground.  Many parents and grandparents were there to meet the children and join in the procession.    After everyone said the rosary together the youngest boy in the school, Thomas Mc Fadden, and the youngest girl in the school, Jenni Irwin, came forward to crown Mary as the Queen of the May.  The school choir sang beautifully to add to the occasion.
