St. Eithne's Primary School, Derry

Welcome

Welcome to the Saint Eithne’s Primary School website.  Through our website we hope to offer you a glimpse of who we are and some of the things we get up to.  We aim to keep you up to date with all of the news and events that happen here in the life our school.  By visiting this website often we hope you will get a flavour of the array of educational experiences and fun activities that make our school so special.  Prospective parents are always welcome to arrange a visit to our school should you wish to come along and meet us first hand.

Saint Eithne’s Primary School is a modern, purpose built school set in the Hazelbank area of Derry City.  The school is bright, spacious and very well equipped both inside and out, to ensure that our children grow and learn in a happy and secure environment.

Our most recent ETI Inspection reports recognised Saint Eithne’s as an ‘Outstanding’ school and in October 2015 concluded, ‘Saint Eithne’s School continues to demonstrate a high level of capacity for sustained improvement’.

As a Catholic Primary School we welcome children from all, or no, faith backgrounds and aim to ensure that all of our children grow and develop to their full potential.
